its acceptance we seek,

We have done nothing

This makes me so sad to read. Six million Jews slaughtered in the Holocaust and still after all that suffering, they are the most persecuted in the world. Each day on fb there are posts from a memorial site giving photographs of young people who perished in the gas chambers. I can’t pass by without leaving a comment to say they are remembered. A tragedy of monstrous proportions and some would wish it on them again.

That is the truth of the whole terrible, tragic and horrible tale. Those of the Jewish faith were targeted and slaughtered for no reason. You words sum this up quite well. Targeted for breathing

truth indeed & when I penned these few words I knew they would resonate more so with some than with others .. The term holocaust has become synonymous with AH determination to wipe out an entire race .. here tho' the inspiration or underpinning theme is metaphorical ..
