It’s all About You isn’t It

It’s so all about you, isn’t it ..

I don’t mean

my latest book, or the BBC

news, nor

the headlines in some tired

old local rag ..

But the way that you look at

and you see

the whole world and all those

around you ..

In very general terms, skewed,

spoilt, and so

remarkably selfish, self centered,

childish and needy ..

Fact is you’re pathetic, but don’t

make me prove it ..

You are nothing, but a narcissist ..

Green

It's a little crazy watching a narcissist work everything around to be about them. It's fascinating, awful but fascinating. The absolute mental gymnastics some of them will go through without ever even realizing what they're doing. It's so complicated and yet it's become second nature to them and they can execute it perfectly without a second thought. Wild. I've certainly known more than one of them (do they attract each other, why do you always seem to know more than one?), and I wish I could direct them here for maybe just a touch of self awareness.

Poetic Beauty

There are many narcissistic people in the world and most often they are cunning and manipulative. They will make others think that nothing is their fault and if you disagree they will try to paint you as the bad guy.

This is done clearly without flowery words; which for this poem are not needed. This is to the point and it is made well!
