Just a Few Things That Made Up a Day

 

Although as yet, we have not

been formally

 

introduced, or for that matter,

met in the flesh

so to speak .. I have occasional

dreams, in which

you feature and wherein I play

   a small supporting role ..

In the opening scene, you are

always wearing

  

a brand new, white bath robe ..

With your still

damp and sun-bleached, fresh

apple scented hair,

held loose, in a cool, matching

   white towel ..

You are sitting, on an old straw

coloured rice mat

and have a bowl of fresh hand

picked cherries

nestled snugly, between your

   feet and your thighs ..

There is a pink gecko lounging

on the ceiling

and outside one of the two open

windows, a pair of

red and orange fire finches are

singing, having been

   

woken and warmed by a new sun ..

I note that the sky

is still perfect and blue, as it was

yesterday at noon

while cream, bronze and salmon

chrysanthemums

each dance and wave back at me

in the very lightest of

light breezes and from a lime green

   glazed pot, on the balcony ..

If it were me, I'd have noticed every detail about the woman and very little else. 😃
It would have read
"the opening scene,
she was wearing something but... only for a while."
...which is almost a haiku when you think about it! 😃

it all began back when my conscience got the better of me shortly after an unjust and unwarranted invasion & my all too brief stopover in Poland enroute .. it also ended then too by mutual agreement .. cheers Dylan ..Neville

Back when I was on the cusp, when hippies were still a thing, my dreams were vivid and had almost coherent plot lines. I still remember many of them in great detail. Something happened and now I never dream anything I can remember... except when I'm confronted with an uncommon beauty in a passing car, and the next time I've got a few minutes her novel twines with mine in a fantasies... I write a lot of them down... In fact, I posted one today...
