okay maybe,

if he had just been forced

to march

on his bone spurs for one

   or two years ..

the world today would be,

   a better place ..

where honour, justice, truth

and morality

might still command respect

and retain that

certain something that which

without doubt,

   

once made decent folk proud ..

Could be a very fine poetic testament/tribute to aq former british politician who lead GB through too vivtory during the 2nd world war,both trepid and historic times and the man in question few if any have ever been revered and respected by the nation, none other than Sir Winston Churchill ..

Having bone spurs myself, and plantar fasciitis (which I like to call plantar fascists for the torment it inflicts) I get the unwillingness to push through. We should march on, though. Keep the faith, and recognize how important what we do will be to those who come after. Make the world a better place with your words, my friend. Sometimes that is all we have!
