now that another summer's gone

Fear of Falling

 

As autumn begins,

might this be

   the very end of us ..

 

For today tho’ we cling

or we climb to long

   limbs and strong boughs ..

 

Come tomorrow,

we may fly, dance, or fall

   alone with the wind ..

Morning Neville.
Another summer done, for me number 64, and what a fine one it has been.
Got to say though I approach autumn with a wee bit of trepidation as I know winter will be hot on her hills and life on site then becomes anything but pleasant.
Good that your finely laid words got me thinking...decent poetry, and this is, does that:))
