Love Is Dangerous

Love is supposed to be like in the movies,
I used to believed in all fairytales
it should be like disney romance,
In reality, love seems to be boring and dreadful.

You expect love to be all cute and innocent,
Love is suppose to be about affection
But m it is all about attention,
You think its about impressing others,
In reality love can be a trap,
You wanna know what love is?

Sacrifice, build bridges, finding romance and being reliable
They dont tell you how hard it is,
When all you see is love takes work and understanding,

Once you put all your faith and love in a person,
Then one day, he'll stab you in the back.
Love isn't like what you see in movies,
Where you don't see eye to eye now.

You woke up one day and found yourself empty-handed;
All the roses burned to ashes.
You fought and didn't nurture that love.
It's all fake, like plastic roses.
All the backstabs and fake emojis,
You break up and didn't learn much.
Nowadays, you're scared to wake up.

the last line of you are scared to wake up hits home for me, I could not have better expressed this theme that you have taken better. Moveis are made to make us buy more things, thats all tehy are there for, real life is so hard and loyality is even harder, gone are the days when people used to stick together in thick and thin, now most people dont, its the age of individualism, love is a fashion and an accessory for status, ego or money.
