Races:

Format: Race - attribute

  1. Humans - unique beings possessing a variety of talents and abilities
  2. Felidae - beings with feline attributes such as night vision, always landing on their fours (hands and feet), etc. They have feline tails, claws, and ears; some have manes/fur on parts of their body (mostly face, ankles, or wrists).
  3. Hounds - beings with canidae (dogs, foxes, wolves and such) attributes such as keen sense of smell, canidae running speed, canidae strength, etc. They have canidae tails, fur, sharp retractable nails/claws, and canidae heads.
  4. Wizards - beings that posses magical powers. Can cast 1 element at a time. Depend on emotions so powers are heightened when the emotion is strong such as great anger or great sadness or etc. Wizards cannot use tools. They can copy other people’s abilities the only thing is it has to be copied right away for example teleportation was just done then the wizard can follow the psychic and teleport too.
  5. Daemons - unholy beings that posses great strength & endurance also they have a demon/beast form. They say that their ancestors were humans who interbred with Scythewielders.
  6. Spellcasters - beings that cast spells using tools (tools can be staffs, books, talismans, potions, or wands, etc.) Without a tool they can’t cast spells but tools can be any item to channel their magic thing is it has to have some connection to the user or have some mana infused into it. Can cast 1 element at a time. They can copy other people’s abilities the only thing is it has to be copied right away for example teleportation was just done then the spellcaster can follow the psychic and teleport too.
  7. Elves - in line with nature, these beings can control plants and the earth, posses healing abilities, and talk to animals/creatures. They can control temperature. They are characterized by their pointy ears.
  8. Luminars - immortal holy beings that can control the light element and have white wings for flight. They do not need a source of light like Lunares do. They say their ancestors were part of the gods’ army (Elders). The higher class the Luminar is the more number of wings they are birthed with. Their class is dependant on how pure their bloodline is and by diligently following the Holy Laws. They can manipulate light to create illusions. They can remove a light source enveloping the area in darkness and they can also provide a light source
  9. Psychics - possess mind reading, teleportation, mind control, telekinesis and other psychic attributes. They also can do space magic which is creating a vortex to store vast items which they can later access from anywhere when needed.
  10. Alchemists - can create various weapons & metals. They can make parts of their body into various weapons or metals as well or change their form completely into something that they’ve seen providing it isn’t too big for their stature. They can copy, making themselves look like a completely different person and fool you, only requirement to this is they have to have met the person they are transforming into and have something of that person’s like a lock of hair. There is a limit though because even if they have the form down they can still be identified because they don’t have the same abilities, knowledge, personality, or mannerisms as the person they are posing as (basically shapeshifter).
  11. Summoners - connected with the wild, these beings can summon, through portals, creatures from any place to do their bidding. Depending on how strong the summoner is the stronger the level of creatures they can summon. If they summon multitudes of creatures at the same time the summoner is left vulnerable
  12. Bredaerials - beings with bird attributes such as flight, eagle sight, etc. They have feathered wings; possess a separate air sac aside from their lungs, and females lay eggs when reproducing.
  13.  Scythewielders - an extinct race. They say some have interbred with humans to create demons thus this race is also known as the ancestral race of demons. They were a pure evil army that lived off the darkness/dark thoughts and deeds of other races. They also could determine the death of a certain being though this can be hindered depending on how much the being fights back " like the fates in Hercules.
  14. Lunares - Thought to be an extinct and destroyed race, they have repopulated. They like Luminars have light powers but aren’t immortal, they are weaker if they have no source of light. They are characterized by a gem on their foreheads and their blue skin; they can though turn “humanoid” for a limited time. Their gems absorb sunlight and can sustain them in case they are surrounded in darkness. They say their ancestors were the gods’ chosen people thus their race never really died but flourished after the Great War. Unlike Luminars they cannot extinguish the light source. They can manipulate light to create illusions
  15. Elders - the four gods who created the world, though they and the Scythewielders no longer exist after the Great War. They say they have left their army known as Luminars to guide the world in the way of the light. They are the strongest race but cannot meddle with one’s free will.

   Non-birth Races:

      Format: Race - attribute

1. Halflings - half races; this term is rarely used though unless in discrimination or in some textbooks and old documents

2. Dark Spirits - restless souls that possess dark magic and are already dead

3. Dark Wizards - though this is not a “birth race,” this is the term used for wizards that are possessed by their powers and become evil.

4. Cyborgs - though this is not a “birth race,” this is the term used for mechanically enhanced beings

5. Demigods - though this is not a “birth race,” this is the term used for fallen Luminars. They are the descendants of Luminars who have sinned or defied the “Holy Laws”. They unlike regular Luminars have black wings and are cast out of the Holy Land (AKA: Haven).

There are a lot of races here I never knew, but they sound so good. They sound interesting. Of the 40, I knew 19. Anyways, well done.
