A Poem by Nick
"

A gladiator tribute

"
By Caesar's will, their blood will spill

Their doctore's drill, like farmers till
Despite the thrills, and constant chills
Strong armour twills, like defensive quills

A game master's bill, they better kill
It's a bitter pill, their mothers shrill
Morals weak as krill, this must distill

With battle's fill, a bloody mill
Their fight's downhill, their fortune's ill
As they lie still, their lifeblood's nil

By Caesar's will, their blood has spilled

They came, they saw, they conquered...such as war... it's a bitter pill to swallow, indeed!
Very dramatic, well written piece... I enjoyed the rhyming and rhythmic flow of your artistic gladiator tribute. Well done! :)
