Past Emotions

Based on a night I spent with an old girlfriend at school. That's all I'm saying ;D

 

 

We Lie on the sofa,

you leaning into me,

I feel your heartbeat,

my arm is around you,

protecting you, sheltering you,

your small hand takes mine,

and places it on your leg,

you lean into me more,

I feel your heartbeat.

You turn and gaze into my eyes

and I see yours,

glinting in the half light,

the palest blue,

we lean into each other

and kiss,

a smile creeping onto both our faces,

I'm leaning into you,

your arms around me

and our hearts beat together.
