When do people find there true identity?

Is it when they are born or when we leave?

When we are born our identity is only beginning.

As we grow we mature, as we mature we make decisions and,

Those decisions make up who we are.

When we grow old, we look back on everything,

Wishing we could do it all over again.

Only when we leave do we know what our true identity was.

i like it; its down toearth and what a lot of people think so i think readers can relate to your poem. I think it seems kind of like a short reverie; a blurb from the collective thoughts we all share. seems like it could use a little more substance to it but over all I enjoyed it
