Unfolding Skies

So what did you learn-

While you were carrying the world?

 

What was it like-

To see the sun

Separate itself from the sky?

And when did you notice-

That the two had parted?

Or-

Did you marvel and watch

As the sky unfolded?

 

And did the moon-

Entice

Or bore you

As it followed in its loyal circle?

 

And when you lost your grip

-When you finally let go
