Music Makes Me Not Be Dead

The title is unoriginal. I got if from a quote and off sprang my little poem.

It keeps me out of the dark.
It brings me into the light.
Lets me say how I feel.
Lets me keep it inside.
Gives me a friend when I'm lonely.
Gives me an outlet for my pain.
Music is always around me.
Even in the pouring rain.
