And yet, I smile

And yet, I smile

A Poem by Nima.Hope
"

Chaos causes creativity

"
And yet, I smile
Don't take me wrong
I'm not happy inside.
Broken, to see my dear ones
bending beneath the wrath of life
as they dismiss all their bonds.

And yet, I smile
not to bring fake hope
but rather a light
when the end comes by a rope.

And yet, I smile
You may call me weak, dear friend,
I shall be, I don't decline!
If there's room for a defense,
not being a burden of sorrow,
will be my choice of reference.

And yet, I smile
Like a Lotus in a swamp
where rests the void of beauty
I dare to hope that I can be a symbol,
whereas the environment shall be dirty.

And yet, I smile
as my soul deprives me of sanity,
I find the eternal bliss,
in providing joy to those who matter,
with kindness, caring or even a kiss.

reminds me of Smoky and the MIracles...

"take a good look at my face. you'll see my smile looks out of place, if you look closer it's easy to trace, the tracks of my tears."
