JUST A DREAM

My eyes closed,
A teardrop froze,
Just above the cheeks,
It halted.
And then,
Trickled down,
Like a bat out of hell.
I then found you,
Next to me,
Caressing me,
Like never before.
In your embrace i lie,
You not even letting me sigh.
We came closer,
A little more closer.
As i tried
To stare you,
With my eyes open.
I realised,
It was just a dream,
Taking me to a stream,
Where the only drift is to DREAM.
