Crown of Glory

It is poem about human and wildlife conflicts

Crown of Glory

They called him a man-eater so they united against him!
They built towers but could not watch him!
They settled with their weapons but could not shoot him!
They used traps but could not catch him!
Finally they set the woods on fire but could not even find carcasses of him!

The villagers of small town in corner of some wide spread jungle returned by saying;
The BIG cat is "HIDING" in the woods...

He knew they will come back,
They knew he will strike back,
This changes nothing except; 
This time the king was hunting for survival and poachers were hunting for meaningless glory...
But such glory never makes you king,
The king remains king and poachers will remain poachers!
