The Reformation

The Reformation

A Poem by Nitin Menon

A troubled childhood , no doubt

Plenty to brood about

An angst filled teenage

Tears on almost every page

Seeking liberation from memories

Through rebellious deeds

At the end of the tunnel , there was light

Two wrongs don't make a right

Got his act together

Now nothing seems to bother

Glides through life soaking all pain

Provocations look frivolous and mundane

A mind where cursed thoughts roamed

Has stilled and truly reformed
