A lady and her Foxes

A lady and her Foxes

A Poem by Nathaniel Ward
"

This is a poem I wrote for Miakayla Raines, who sadly took her own life due to personal stress and cyberbullying. rest easy beautiful

"

In the hush of morning’s golden light,
Where whispers stir the fields of white,
Mikayla moves with gentle grace,
A guardian in a quiet place.

Her hands know fur both rough and fine,
Each soul she tends a sacred sign.

With patience deep and laughter kind,
She mends what cruelty left behind.

Foxes dance in her watchful care,
Their joy ignites the open air.

Silent stories fill their eyes,
But with her love, the silence flies.

No cage too strong, no past too grim,
She brings back light when hope looks dim.
Not all wear capes"but some wear boots,
And walk with hearts that take deep roots.

This poem came from my heart for her and her family who are in a lot of pain, a pain I am all too familiar with. I will miss you and your voice that sounded like a calming breeze.
