GodsendA Poem by Noah Adair
Godsend
At the perfect, Most desperate moment, We found each another. A dark brown tempest Pulled me in and An insane moment Cooled to reveal A most mysterious heaven In your solemn eyes. It seems an unseen hand Guided our straying paths To converge, But I never did thank The lord, nor take his name in vain, for giving me All the things I wanted. It’s true, thou mayest As you choose, my love But the heart is not broken, Just quietly redefined By the choice of forgiveness. © 2025 Noah AdairReviews
