Closure

A Poem by Noah Adair

Closure

Soften your throat for me,
So I can plant words
Like little seeds in loam.

We'll wait for the harvest
And reap what love has sown,
To taste the bitter fruit
That silence couldn't bear,
To know that we are real.

So we can speak, my love,
And heal the broken breaths
Of everything we didn’t say.
