Let the thought
enter the frame
then slip
out of focus.

Exposed too long,
burned at the edges -
an opening
into another world.

I study the image -
a mouth mid-tear,
a body paused
before collapse.

Heard clearly,
held in grain and in light,
yet impossible
to understand.
