We All Want to Keep Our Legs

We All Want to Keep Our Legs

A Poem by Rosette Jewel
"

Wrote this after some introspective thought and an unfortunate chain of incidents.

"
smothered in dirt
soiled by "sin",
this World,
oh, Universe,
I pity your existence
engulfed in outrage,
bacteria crawls
amongst every surface,

a garbage disposal
for poor souls
blinded by proposal
of an Infinite Being
who promises paradise
with merely
a thread of chance
a roll dice

this filthy World,
oh, Universe,
biodegrading,
everything dilapidating,
Hipocrisy rising,
morals dying.
