Inbetween Somewhere

Inbetween Somewhere

A Poem by NomadKing1971

Leave this shell of discontent,

and think of the hours

on waste we've spent,

smooth children of sin-

the happy memorizers;

pinholes in eyelids,

through which light has permit.

The crazed enforcers pushed me to believe,

the heavenly message,

the one I never received;

caught somewhere between strands,

straddling this web of existence-

trying to find the next entrance.
