Sonnet of Hell

Sonnet of Hell

A Poem by Tracey Hays

Heat and smoke, a smothering abyss,
Souls in pain shattered bliss.
Perpetual torture merciless death,
Over and over taking your last breath.
Charred flesh and rotting bones,
The eternal screams, shouts, and moans.
A ground sewn together with cadavers,
Colored in red blood stained splatters.
The walls caked with splattered brains,
Ceiling lined in blood sucked veins.
Sitting in a pool of blood a beast with crown of horns,
Full of evil and of scorn.
His voice so deep and full of wrath,
He drinks the blood from his bath.

I think this is very imaginative as to what HELL would be like. The description is great and every word just falls into place. I like it a lot. I think I'll add it to my library.
