Hopskotch

A Poem by OldKingKaiser
"

Just a little poem I threw together, while searching for a fun tempo and rhyme scheme. Tell me what'cha think! :D

"
A stone is tossed, a line is crossed,
  The first contest begins.
The one who plans and understands
Will be the one who wins.

You say a prayer, leap through the air,
And one and two and one,
Just do your best, a youth's first test,
  We're simply having fun.

And two and one and two and one,
  You've missed the skip, resign.
You didn't win, to try again
  Just get back into line.

Now as we grow, all grown men know,
  Our troubles grow to scale.
But hold to you a child's view,
  You'll never truly fail.

Each time you fall, just stand up tall,
And don't you say you're done.
It's one and two and one and two
and skip and two and one.

I like it. Very classic sounding.
