Poem of love searching and knowing

      “But When”

Have you ever wondered what could have been?

The answer not now, the question became but when.

Did fear cause your mind to doubt?

Did your heart break when you walked out?

But the memories of how you felt and still feel

causes your heart to say this love is real!

And even time doesn’t change what you know,

that what could have been still continues to grow.

Despite all the years, the heart holds on to but when,

knowing the truth is this….real love will never end.
