Ode to CoffeeA Poem by OmikronNot sure if it's an ode, I tried to stay as rhythmic as possible. Hope you liked it...Oh Coffee, for you I bow my head I crave your aromatic soul Oh, the pleasure and monumental joy When the steaming roast enchants my mind Touched and revived by the sacred brew Of long and humid arabian nights, That are fading into luminous days. Oh Coffee, you'll be the tears I shed Single drops of pitch-black gold Oh, never could my heart be coy With the mind and soul intertwined You linger in me, though our moments are few No need for maps, no need for lights To you, I'll always find the ways.
