My Heart is Full

My Heart is full

Full of love

Full of sun

And summer.

All my fright

Is out of sight

Or so it seems

'Til night.

In this ray

I bathe and bask

What happiness is

I become her.

Among fields in my mind

With feet ever light

I trail the earth

In white.

Whatever might come

What fear may be

How much my soul

Loses colour.

I shall not flinch

Nor move an inch

For I know peace

And Its might.

My Heart is full

Below and above

Full of dread

And deception.

But today

I'll keep it at bay

And let it be full

Of love.

Always best to focus on the positives in life. I got that feeling very much from your stanzas. The dross of life which is always there should stay in the background.
