OmikronA Poem by OmikronI must be famous, I see my name everywhere! When I was a teen I always felt like a virus That divided every room I stepped into And infected the world with my darkness. It took me 13 years Eleven therapists Six doctors Four pills Two overdoses Countless scars Redefining my identity To stop feeling like a virus. Come 2021 I was managing, living Not feeling like a virus And then I see my alias, everywhere "New Covid-mutation, more contagious than ever" Big, bold letters "OMIKRON IS SPREADING" World chaos ensues. They tell me I'm a virus And all I can do is laugh For the universe, though vast and hollow Surely serves comedy of the finest quality To remind me of what I've overcome.
