He Deserves, She Knows

Sometimes you just know you can't give enough but you can't stop yourself from trying.

He deserves someone…
…who can make him happy,
…who knows how to lift his spirits
when they are down,
…who has her life together,
and can provide him with what he is missing.

She knows…
…she isn’t the one and it hurts so much,
…she doesn’t want to let go but must,
…It isn’t fair to her to keep wasting his time
having the knowledge that she can’t
fulfill any of his needs fully or even partially.

She has tried…
…to make him happy and has failed miserably,
…to be what he needs and failed miserably,
…to get her life together and failed miserably.

She is going…
..to thank him for all he has done and
then disappear out of his life
and hope it doesn’t kill her.
