You

You

A Poem by Drea Dawson

I left you because I was bored.
And you never got over it.
So you made yourself far from boring
Carved out a favorite
Now I'm supposed to be jealous
Chubby a*s pictures on Instagram
I think she's over zealous
Videos of her face on Only Fans
Oh wow one hundred followers
So impressive
She's your favorite swallower
With pictures so suggestive
You careen into a fantasy world
All because a beautiful girl
Broke your heart
Now a plain girl
Gives you a new start

I broke you so you
turned our history to ash
You stamped out the good parts
Now you worship trash
But I majored in Fine Arts
And my husband appreciates that

You loved me so much
You hated me
You were consumed with
Getting even & jealousy

I left you cuz I wanted more
You replaced me with a w***e
With crooked makeup
And the shakeup
Wasn't that I'd been replaced
But our history was debased
That was in poor taste
Shoulda known
You were two faced
Predictability is a bore
