Final Hour

Final Hour

A Poem by Endless Rain

Slowly I breathe my last breath
Before I face my death
Everything I have seen
Before God I am unclean
My love,my family, my friends
May I finally be cleansed
In the name of our Father in heaven
The final nail to my coffin has been driven
It was an adventure to be livin
I never took for granted what I was given
Our father, Alpha and Omega, I am forgiven
My life flashes before my eyes in a slide show
This is it, this is the final blow
I'm in God's arms
No tricks No charms
Just him and nothing else
Knowing that there is a God helps
I know this because of what I have seen
I have seen it with my own being
I have heard the darkness that lurks behind me
I have felt what I could not see
Today people are deceived by this devil that controls their mind
Blinding them from the truth that they are trying to find
Blessed be His name for he died for the unclean
He gave his own being
For us, so that we could rest in peace
So that we would be saved from the beast
So that we would be forgiven without a priest
