The Challenge

The Challenge

A Poem by Endless Rain

When everything starts to falter.
When my footsteps become harder.
Losing the familiar place.
That nothing can replace.
Picking up the scattered pieces.
That my shattering heart releases.
Starting a new journey on new ground
Faded memories of this town.
That I once knew in the beginning
Of my life which continues spinning
Me around from place to place.
The unhappiness that appears on my face.
The empty feelings that consumes me.
That makes me want to flee.
This empty city of lost faith
That makes me feel unsafe.
Every city speaks to me.
Telling me what they see.
I can feel the dark presence upon
The ground that I walk on.
Praying for the strength of a hundred men.
Praying to be cleansed from my sin.
I always know my God will be inside me.
Who knows my path and the things I can not see.
I must trust in Him so that I may grow
My father,My protector who continues to flow
Within me so that I may conquer every challenge.

I like this write here, this is wonderful

The empty feelings that consumes me.
That makes me want to flee.
This empty city of lost faith
That makes me feel unsafe.
Every city speaks to me.
Telling me what they see.
I can feel the dark presence upon
The ground that I walk on.

Love these lines especially, this is very well written.
