Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Endless Rain

I hunt when it is dark.
Like murky waters as a shark.
I am alone and feel no pain.
I am dark and still remain.
My shadows haunt the street.
Footsteps echo from my feet.
Darkness is what I become.
I have become distant and numb.
At night I am free.
No one can see me.
Like the wind blowing.
I am always in the wind flowing.
One with night.
Gone when it's night.
Forever lost in the dark shroud.
I remain as a thick dark cloud.
Hate and wicked sorrow are within me.
The few that no one can see.
Lingers on like a distant memory.
Will follow me to my death in the cemetary.

Making the text grey on white doesn't fit the theme of darkness, and also makes it harder to read.
