Broken Hearts

Dreams shattered into your haunting eyes.
Feeling the heartache through your distant cries.
Something you have wanted all along.
Knowing that these feelings could never be wrong.
Suddenly blown into oblivion as you lay crying.
The endless pain in your heart as you lay dying.
Praying to get through the endless night.
You fight the evil feelings with all your might.
The pain of being rejected has taken it's toll.
You can feel it tainting your very soul.
Breaking you down hour by hour.
Locked in your own misery within the tower.
Tormented by the falling rain on your burns.
The emptyness that fills your stomach as it churns.
What can save you now through the darkness of your shadow.

I liked the way you described everything, it was really great. Well..the way the poem was written, not exactly the idea of a broken heart. lol. Cause those things aren't fun. haha
