Fade Away

Fade Away

A Poem by Endless Rain

Fade away from me
Cold and ashamed from what you can see.
If I could let everything go.
Maybe my feelings would show.
I'm not asking for an emmy.
I just want this pain to stop inside me.
Everyday I wake up to another day.
Another day of me fading away.
All the things I wanted are fading to black.
The backstabbing pain in my back.
Late nights of misery controlling every move I make.
My heart crumbles as I break.
If for one moment everything would be okay.
Maybe I could continue on with the day.
Knowing that all this pain could fade away.

It's a poem with very deep emotions. I've read more of your poems and in all of them you make such a powerful pictures with the words you're using... I love that. And you mentioned "fading to black" which is the same name as Metallica's song, you got me with that.. ;)
Wonderful poem...
