Regen is German for rain

I hear the slight tapping on my window
I hear that slight sound that I know
Raindrops sent from the heavens above
Raindrops that wash away the pain of love
I'm feeling blue and stuck in this corner
I really need to cry on your shoulder
I don't know what's happening tonight
Despite all of this I will continue to write
I need a place where I can just let down and rest
I need a place where I can just forget this mess
My guitar is my only friend at night
And I still continue to write
May the rain wash away the emptiness inside of me
May the rain wash away the anger inside of me
May the rain wash away the sadness inside of me
May the rain wash away these bad feelings inside of me
