Behind this mask

Guilt and secrets what a terrible burden.

behind this sunny face,

lies a darksome cloud,

behind facades the slightest trace,

Of an ever lurking shroud

Without the joy lies guilt and disgrace

Hidden amongst the crowd

With this mask that I embrace

Some dignity is allowed

For behind this sunny face
