Eyes That Tell A StoryA Poem by P'OThis poem was written during a period where i was too hot tempered and i was trying to write my anger out and ultimately cool it but coming to a realisation that my emotions are what make me who I am.
Flickering fire that burn those who glare into it
So hot It may even burn your soul if not handled carefully The charcoal So hot It glows an infinite colour of red and orange Giving off a distinct smell that warms your body when breathed in Asa told me 'There's a fire on the mountain' But she lied! That fire was within me Within my soul But shown in my eye I tried to quench it but the winds from a far land kept blowing Keeping the fire alight Giving the fire fuel So I plunged into the deep blue until there was no fire Only soft patterns of patterns And softer colours of soft colours Floating by things which can only be perceived by the mind as it is so intricate So Outstanding At this point I realise That without fire there would be no me But it was too late Too late to save the fire Too late to save myself.
