Mr.President is not mine
but the most powerful all the same
I wish to know what warlords do
campaign the country through
where did the money come from
military defense too eager to donate
bomb makers and destructors
as previous monkeys legislated
did we forget JFK?
Interested to know
if every dollar campaigned
had a name
what companies
who are the evils of tomorrow?

I could only say
I would donate if I knew
what I gave
would come back
eventually
the way of the world
give and take

what does the most powerful man
have to give back in his first term
before he doesn't exist for his second.
