Still

Still

A Poem by PadfootBlack

I still cry for you

Still shed tears for you

There are smears on this paper

And yes, they're for you.

I still sigh for you
...
And m'dear, I'd still die for you.
How I wish that you

still

felt the same.

This is sad but speaks volumes. Heartfelt love.

I can relate, though not for my father, but, for a lost love I once knew. You should read my poem, Damned to sin.

:) Thanks.

This was such a powerful write. There was so much intensity and emotion behind this poem that I really liked, and the situation that you described was something that really hit home for me. I liked the gentle tone of this piece, and the subtlety in the rhyming scheme. There was just one mistake that I noticed, which was that "there's" in the third line should be "there are". Other than that, I liked this a lot. Nice work,

Hard to know what a person has done and lived through. I didn't understand my Father's life till I done and saw what he lived through. A powerful poem with a hidden story in your words. A excellent poem. Thank you.
