The Girl I Loved MostA Poem by BrittanyThis is from the night I miscarried.
Under that starry sky, I lie and watch the Earth.
I smiled as I touch my stomach, Anticipating your birth. I walk to the bedroom, Wishing to sleep. It is your heart, I solemnly keep. Daddy was mean to mommy, He hurt you and I. A fight ensued, I didn't expect you to die. I went to the hospital, The doctors told me you went away. In this world, I didn't want to stay. I needed my little girl, Mommy's little angel. God needed you more, My beautiful Archangel. I hope you like your new home, I'll see you one of these days. On the other side, Of those pearly gates. I miss you more, And it hurts. I only want, I wish my life reverts. I love you Savana, My precious girl. Know that you, Are mommy's world. Rest In Peace ~8/23/10~
