Serenity for Eternity

 

From within we search for the moment of endless serenity

Serenity of truth and justice

Serenity of honor and hope

We plough through all yet we never grasp the reins of serenity.

 

Clouded by dark visions we manifest our illusions

Illusions of truth and justice

Illusions of honor and hope

For eternity  we succumb to our desire and fail to reach serenity

 

Alas man is lost

For their fingertips have been cut by a dark desire

Infecting the blood with a incurable disease of the heart

 

And so serenity falls into slumber

Waiting for a hero of new

To hold her in her arms for eternity

Author's Note

I cam up with this poem as I was laying on the ground during work looking at the clouds. The peaceful movements of the clouds made me come up with these lines. Enjoy
