Sugary hills.

Sugary hills.

A Poem by PaleWriter

Tina Palmer - RIBBONS OF SNOW original painting

Cold-biting breezes sweep sugary hills
as autumn is bitten by wintery chills.
And silky white snowdrifts, frozen in time,
enfold, like waves suspended.
Heavenly jewels sparkle bright
on powdered seas, where diamonds shine.

They shimmer on fields in tides of snow,
winking their crystal eyes at those
who promised their lovers the stars.

On kittens' feet, they come at night,
adrift, like feathers, floating light;
swaying to the hush of a Christmas song
whose winter chorus flutters along
to the lyrics of a whispering wind.

Thank very much.
On kitten's feet
they come at night,
adrift like feathers
floating light;
swaying to the hush
of a lonely song,
whose wintry ballad
flutters along,
to the lyrics
of a whispering
wind...

the quoted lines are dancing in my heartsoul...so beautiful the image everlasting...thank you so very much for touching my life with such elegance...
