The Allure of Autumn TreesA Poem by PaleWriterAs sizzling skies of summer dispensed its heat through hills, October launched its chilly reign exchanging heat for chills. Majestic trees of birch, in sway, along the distant trail, released a mass of florid leaves that mounted in the dale. Each silent, spinning parasail, rotating through their whirls, nose-dived as a regiment plunging down in twirls. Yet if a blitz of bitter snow must always make a stance, winter flakes cannot replace my autumn tree romance.
