Do You Know Me?

Do You Know Me?

A Poem by PamLee
"

This poem deals with religion. "Do You Know Me?" is a poem about finding God and accepting the things we can not change.

"

Do you know me?

Along the lines, of surrendering to,

whispers in the dark, encourage my thought,

to sink to the bottom, of Hell.

Opposite whispers, change of ear,

draws me near, theses whispers, I do not fear.

raises me from the bottom, to a chamber, I can not bare.

I see my sins, there's blood on the floor,

I have never been here before.

The Shining light,

my body of freight,

It brings me to a tear,

I don't deserve to be here.

"Oh, my savior, why me?"

"You are one of my angels can't you see?"

"But, Father can't you see what I've made of me?"

"I died for your sins, you are forgiven by me, don't they speak of me?"

"I know of you, but I never Knew you....

they never spoke of you... I read of you against there will...

I believe... but never believed,

I'd be here."

"Welcome my child, to I grant you in my Kingdom>"

"Awe, sweet wonderful freedom!"

It is funny and strange though much praised the way we speak out to God in the universe, and we hear that he speaks to us in so many analogies and metaphors. And through so many means as exist. There are gods and then the one true God to distinguish men from angels and God himself; though sometime when we adore a being on earth we could love them so much we want them to be our good ruler to provide for us like a divine person and indeed it would feel so to be so loved in this intimate way. Some people have not had that in life, and that does not seem quite right. This is a beautiful poem and has "sweet wonderful freedom!" at the end which we all love, what we know of feeling free. (To me that is being outside for a brief time when the weather is nice to be at one with nature. I do hope that heaven is like that!!)
