Tidal

Tidal

A Poem by Charlie
"

If only he knew...

"
We burn for one another
Our hearts, vessels, and soul
The trinity ablazes passionately and effectively
Scars of our love remain in our eyes when they meet
Reliving the fierce tension of the fire
Every day it seems to get harder to conceal my gashes
He revives them with a single glance
His ocean blue eyes washing salt over my lesion
I know I am his, I know
Stranded in his tides; that's where I belong

I want to be wounded by the roaring waves
Carried away into the unknown without doubt clawing at me
The ethereal whispers of the tide that consumes me
The shushing of sweet nothings
The language of promises
Seeping into my once burned skin,
A tingling sensation
Eases a part of me
Rummed the commanding oceans,
"I love you.. I love you.."
Growing with constant need
Desiring to drown me in the love and affection I deserve

Finally, I sink
Swallowed into the depths of his soulful eyes:
I surrender

About
I'm a girl, ironic since I have a boy name. I'm a poet and I play an acoustic guitar from time to time. I really like grunge, punk rock music but I enjoy other genres. I sing as well, probably my bigg.. more..
