Look Into His Eyes

Look into his eyes

and tell me what you find''

a man undone,

a fractured mind.

A soul that’s fading

behind the seams,

a ghost who wanders

through broken dreams.

His smile is painted,

his laughter thin,

a mask that hides

the war within.

Look deeper still

past the practiced lies,

past the trembling breath

and the quiet cries.

You’ll see the shadows

he tried to flee,

the monster he feared

he’d come to be.

And when the truth

at last finally breaks free…

you’ll understand''

that man is me.
