Jesus ChristA Poem by PAPPACASSA poem about questioning his existence and his eternal destinyJesus Christ By Shawn P. Cassidy They say that once in a distant land, A king was born in a manger of sand. A king marked early by a fate so severe, That even the heavens trembled in fear. The living God, the sacrificial lamb, Redemption of sin was his father’s plan. Son of God? Son of Man? Was his death truly written in the span? They say he was a king, redeemer of sin, A cry on the wind that returns again. Yet who can swear thorns crowned his head, Or swear the stone rolled back for the dead? One truth remains" his story hasn’t died, It rises in silence where faith was denied. But if heaven is hope and hell is fear, Then show me the proof that he was here. © 2026 Shawn P. Cassidy.
