Yin Without Yang.

Yin Without Yang.

A Poem by L0v3craft
"

An old idea floating around in my head again...

"

I care not for the dreams of Man

Lacking inspiration of Greek muses

Despite what nightmares foreshadow.

Peace, love, and unity are all but silly delusion;

An idea suggesting lovely harmony,

Although mistaking that it’s shared.

Where’s the Darkness in light of all this?

Where’s the balance?

It’s a yin without its yang.

Author's Note

L0v3craft
Call me pessimistic, but the universal idea of the perfect, always-happy-no-war-no-struggle Utopias are boring. I need to live in a world with chaos and madness; it makes life and the little things so goddamn precious to me.

I appreciate the sentiment of this. Harmony is often associated with a state of perfect peacefulness, or something similar, isn't it? But I too would find that the scale, in that case, would be tipped completely, and there would be no balance without an equal amount of chaos. Actually, I really appreciate the line "Although mistaking that it’s shared" because I think such a condition, in which every person feels a sense of harmony, would leave the world as a whole in complete chaos. Harmony becomes less, the more people who try to share it.
Actually, I just really like chaos.
