Shameless

Shameless

A Story by Kathryn Smith

On my hands

On my knees

I crawl to my bed

And I sleep

Then

I awake

Still wanting you

Still loving you

Still sinfully

Lusting after you

I am shameless

Needing you again

Somewhere in Viroqua

You bless souls

You wear your collar

With love and a broken heart

I am slowly going mad

My lips are bitten

My nails grasp the sheets

Writhing

I remember

We could've gone to California

I remember your eyes

Locking in mine

I remember your hands

Grazing my skin

Your hugs

Your silent plea

For me to stay

With red lipstick

Nails painted

Dainty floral dresses

Their eyes

Prey

I drown in my own rubble

Of impossible love

Shameless
